July 8, H.E. Jose Durabio Moros Savelli, Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Commonwealth of Dominica, and his wife visited the Confucius Classroom at the Dominica State College.

The Chinese Director of the Confucius Classroom Qin Ling extended a warm welcome to Ambassador Moros and his wife.He first introduced to Moros the history, advantages and characteristics of Xidian University, the Chinese host institution of the Confucius Classroom, as well as the situation of Chinese language teaching and various cultural activities conducted by the Confucius Classroom in the local area.The upcoming Chinese Summer Camp and the Chinese course jointly offered with Pioneer Preparatory School, a famous local private school, in the autumn semester were introducedas well.

Moros introduced the popularity of Chineseteachingin Venezuela and expressed his and his family's strong interest in learning Chinese. He highly appreciated the achievements of the Confucius Classroom and expressed his best wishes for the future development of the Confucius classroom.

Qin Ling also accompanied Moros and his wife to visit the Confucius Classroom wisdom classroom and reading room.
