1.除休学、外出实习等特殊原因外，原则上不允许延期开题（中期考核）；
1. Except for such special reasons as the suspension of schooling and internship, in principle, the postponement of dissertation opening (mid-term examination) is not allowed;
2.申请延期应于正常期限内提出，申请延期只能顺延一学期。延期后仍不能完成论文开题或中期考核的，不能进行学位申请等后续工作；
2. The application for extension shall be submitted within the normal time limit, and extension can be postponed only for one term. If the dissertation opening or mid-term examination cannot be completed after the extension, the follow-up work including degree application shall not be carried out;
3.本表一式三份，研究生院学位办、研究生所在学院、研究生本人各一份。
3. This form is made in triplicate, one for the graduate school's degree office, one for the school of the graduate student and the last one for the graduate student him/herself.
